The announcement echoed incessantly throughout the arena.

Having just been teleported to the battle stage, the contestants erupted into chaos.

High Plateau:

Gohan gazed solemnly at the sky, his heart tightening as he listened to the announcement.

Less than a minute after being teleported, many participants had already been eliminated. Fortunately, none of them were from Universe 7.

“I wonder how everyone else is doing…” Gohan muttered anxiously.

Thud…!

A footstep shattered Gohan’s concentration. He whirled around with his guard up. He hadn’t noticed anyone approaching.

As he turned, his heart skipped a beat.

“Uncle Piccolo!!!”

Gohan’s excitement surged like that of a child. At that moment, a glimmer of confidence ignited within him. The person he had been most worried about had been paired with him.

“Sorry for startling you, Gohan. I deliberately concealed my energy signature to minimize noise,” Piccolo said as he slowly approached Gohan.

Gohan grinned from the bottom of his heart and replied, “Uncle Piccolo, it’s great that we’re matched up!”

Piccolo smiled faintly and nodded, but then his expression turned grave.

“You heard the announcement, too, right? I didn’t realize that so many had already been eliminated.”

Gohan’s expression grew serious. “I did, Uncle Piccolo. It seems there are intense battles raging in the other modules.”

The island was completely surrounded by seawater on all sides.

Super Broly gazed up at the sky, listening intently to the exhilarating announcement.

Deep within a dense forest… Son Goten stood with his eyes closed, listening intently.

A fallen leaf drifted onto his face, and he slowly opened his eyes.

Suddenly, a cheerful voice reached his ears.

“Hey, Goten! You’re here too!”

He quickly turned towards the voice and saw Bulla’s silhouette.

“Sister Bulla,” He replied, his face breaking into an irrepressible smile.

Bulla returned the smile, and their eyes met.

“Universe 9 has already eliminated seven fighters. We need to be extra cautious!” Bulla warned.

Son Goten nodded firmly in agreement.

A vast plain stretched out before them.

Vegeta had already heard the announcement but dismissed it with disdain.

He scoffed and said, ‘Tch,’ before continuing his exploration of the battlefield.

A small hill.

Son Goku scratched his head and muttered to himself, “Whoa, so that’s what the elimination sound is like?”

“Why do we keep hearing about Universe 9 being eliminated?”

Inside Universe 9’s observation booth, God of Destruction Sidra was in a complete uproar. Equally agitated was Kaioshin Roh, whose villainous face only served to amplify his fury.

Sidra paced nervously, glaring at the eliminated fighters being teleported back to the observation booth. He still refused to believe that they had been eliminated so quickly.

Less than a minute had passed since the start of the tournament, yet seven members of Universe 9 had already been knocked out.

Kaioshin Roh erupted into a torrent of curses beside him.

“Worthless trash! All of you are worthless trash! What were you even doing out there?!”

The eliminated fighters hung their heads, not daring to respond.

The God of Destruction, Sidra, surveyed the defeated warriors with glazed eyes, his gaze filled with disbelief. It wasn’t simply because these fighters had been eliminated all at once. Rather, it was the utterly inexplicable manner of their defeat that troubled him.

He clearly remembered them all being teleported onto the arena together.

One moment they were moving normally; the next, they were all sprawled on the ground.

A few seconds later, they were ejected from the arena unceremoniously.

The entire sequence was seamless and instantaneous.

Most shocking of all was the fact that even he, the God of Destruction, hadn’t been able to discern what had happened in that split second!

He couldn’t catch even a glimpse of the assailant’s features. All he knew was that their speed was unfathomable.

A knot tightened in his chest.

Even the God of Destruction of Universe 9 had been unable to follow the attacker’s movements. Just who was this mysterious adversary?

Sidra fell silent, his gaze fixed on the fighters being reprimanded by Roh. After a moment, he murmured, “It’s not your fault. They’re simply on a different level to you.”

“Roh, stop scolding them,” He ordered the Universe 9 Kaioshin. But Roh seemed unwilling to obey, continuing to berate the team.

Exasperated, Sidra could only turn to Angel Mohito.

“Master, I’m sorry… I might really have to say goodbye to you now…”

Even then, Angel Mohito maintained his gaunt, weary expression. He remained silent and composed and merely nodded slightly.

It seemed that, ever since the Tournament of Power began, he had mentally prepared for the erasure of Universe 9. At that moment, the God of Destruction, Sidra, could pin all his remaining hope on the final three survivors.

In the heart of a vast desert, the three remaining members of Universe 9 could feel their hearts pounding as if a thousand horses were galloping inside them.

They had barely begun, yet seven of their teammates had already been eliminated.

These three were the Dangerous Trio:

Red Wolf – Basil: a master of leg techniques; Yellow Wolf – Lavender: a poison specialist. Gray Wolf – Bergamo: A warrior who can convert an opponent’s skill into his own power.

Together, these three formed the core of Universe 9’s fighting force.

“Big Brother! I can’t believe the others from Universe 9 were so weak! Dammit! Now it’s just the three of us left,” Lavender said, clenching his fists tightly as he glared at Bergamo.

“Damn it! They must have come up against some seriously strong opponents,” Basil analyzed.

However, Bergamo remained dismissive. Crossing his arms, he scoffed, “Hmph! That just proves how weak they were, not how strong their opponents were. If I’d faced those fools, they would have been the ones eliminated.”

Just as he was speaking, a figure suddenly entered their line of sight.

The newcomer was a lithe, horned individual who approached them with remarkable courtesy.

“Greetings,” he said politely. “Have you seen my companions anywhere?”

It was none other than Frost from Universe 6, also known as the Frozen Demon of Universe 6. However, he was currently only in his first form.

The Dangerous Trio instantly grew wary. Although the newcomer was acting deferentially, Lavender, their poison expert, sensed ill intent lurking beneath the surface.

This was a classic case of a smile concealing a dagger.

Unbeknownst to them, another figure was silently observing the entire scene.

“Hoh hoh hoh, how intriguing,” Frieza chuckled to himself as he eavesdropped on their conversation while passing by. He concealed himself behind a rocky outcrop, suppressing his energy signature.

From their conversation, he had already learned that they were the last three survivors of Universe 9.
