The World of Void.
Vegito shouted at Beerus, demanding, “I’ll ask you only once! Do you surrender, Beerus?”
As the nominal head of the ten Gods of Destruction of Universe 2, Beerus knew what this battle meant. If he admitted defeat here, it would mean surrendering on behalf of the entire group of Gods of Destruction.
They would surely become a laughingstock! He might as well be dead than keep living if that happened! There was still a chance to turn things around. As long as he was alive, there was hope for a reversal.
In the end, his gaze locked onto Trunhan in the distance.
Trunhan was already at the end of his rope at that moment.
With his shattered consciousness, Beerus controlled the gigantic hand he had summoned and directed it toward Trunhan.
Trunhan was completely unaware of the danger approaching from behind.
Vegito, however, had already noticed it. He immediately increased his power output and slammed Beerus straight into the chaotic turbulence of time and space.
The gigantic hand instantly stopped moving.
And it seemed the matter had come to an end.
Trunhan and Vegito both felt as if a huge burden had been lifted. Father and son gasped for air together.
Vegito raised his thumb toward Trunhan. “Nice job.”
Trunhan let out a long breath and forced a smile.
He looked at the hole that had been torn open in the World of Void. Inside, the chaotic flow of time and space could be seen, and the hole was slowly repairing itself.
“Whew, Beerus is really going to suffer this time,” Vegito muttered.
Suddenly, however, the entire World of Void began to shake violently.
“Looks like this place is about to collapse. Let’s go.” Vegito turned to Trunhan again.
But he didn’t see Trunhan’s figure. His alertness spiked instantly as he scanned the surroundings.
At once, he saw that the giant hand summoned by Beerus had actually slapped Trunhan straight into the time-space hole that was in the process of healing.
“Trunks! Gohan!”
Instant Transmission activated immediately, but it was too late. Although Vegito reached Trunhan’s side, he discovered that the closer he got to the hole, the more chaotic the energy became.
He wanted to use Instant Transmission to take Trunhan away, but he couldn’t activate it at all.
“Dad, it looks like we can’t leave. We’re going to enter a space-time rift again,” Trunhan said. He had already tried using Instant Transmission to escape, but it was useless.
“You two! I’ll take you away right now!”
At that moment, voices came from afar; it was Kibito and Supreme Kai Shin. Having learned of this place, Supreme Kai Shin had brought Kibito to the World of Void via Instant Transmission.
Kibito tried to use an enhanced version of Instant Transmission to take the father and son away. But the moment they arrived, they were seized by the time-space vortex.
Seeing this, Trunhan warned, “Lord Kibito, don’t come any closer. You’ll be sucked in too.”
Even beings as powerful as Beerus, Trunhan, and Vegito were being caught by the vortex. If weaker beings like Kibito and Supreme Kai Shin were dragged in, they would probably be torn apart instantly by the chaotic time-space currents.
Upon the two’s sudden arrival, Trunhan and Vegito released massive amounts of energy to stabilize their bodies, but it only slowed the process of being pulled in.
Vegito curled his lips into a grin. “You two are far too weak. You won’t be able to withstand it.”
“Oh, right, hey, shorty. Do you know why I didn’t kill Beerus directly just now?” Vegito asked, pointing at Supreme Kai Shin.
As soon as those words came out, even Trunhan paused. He clearly remembered Vegito asking Beerus if he would surrender.
He truly didn’t have any surplus power left to continue fighting just now, yet it seemed that Vegito had still been holding something back. Supreme Kai Shin shook his head in shock. He hadn’t expected Vegito to suggest killing Beerus.
Vegito continued, “Back in the Kaiōshin Realm, when Vegeta was unconscious, he vaguely heard you talking about committing suicide. If I had killed him, you Kaiōshins would’ve disappeared as well, right?”
“Even though you’re pretty useless, the way you were willing to sacrifice yourself to protect the universe was genuinely admirable. So, Universe 7 can’t do without a Kaiōshin like you, nor without that old geezer.”
As those words fell, the corners of Supreme Kai Shin’s eyes instantly grew moist.
Not only that, but within the Kaiōshin Realm, the Old Supreme Kai, who was watching everything through the crystal ball, was immediately brought to tears.
In that moment, the Old Supreme Kai forgot all about Vegeta’s earlier savage image.
The Old Supreme Kai smiled faintly. “That brat…”

Supreme Kai Shin stood blankly for two seconds, at a loss for words. No amount of words could properly express what he felt at that moment. He simply nodded lightly.
“Thank you, Mr. Vegito.”
Vegito waved his hand and said to Trunhan, “Let’s go… for the sake of letting our Lord Kaiōshin live without worries. It’s time we clean up Beerus’s mess completely.”
“Oh, right. Wasn’t that old geezer sealed away by Beerus for a long time?”
As Vegito’s voice faded, the Old Supreme Kai in the Kaiōshin Realm suddenly choked up. But in the next second, Vegito’s confident voice rang out from the Crystal Ball again.
“Old man, I know you’re watching. I promise you, Beerus will get a taste of what it feels like to be sealed.”
Having said that, Vegito arrogantly lifted his head and loudly emphasized once again: “Yes! You heard me right! We’re going to seal the God of Destruction, Beerus!”
Those words weren’t just for the Old Supreme Kai to hear. They were also meant for the other Gods of Destruction.
At that moment, his domineering aura spread across all the universes.
Watching such an overwhelmingly powerful Vegito from the side, Trunhan felt ashamed in comparison. His father truly had the right to be arrogant, but he himself didn’t have much strength left.
Even so, upon hearing Vegito’s rousing declaration, Trunhan felt his blood boiling! It was time to teach that guy a lesson and let him taste Earth’s “local specialty”!
After all, being dragged by this space-time hole meant entering it was only a matter of time. The final battle would have to take place within the chaotic flow of time and space.
Due to the different time flows, the Potara fusion would last even longer.
“Wait, Dad.”
Vegito shot Trunhan a glance and asked, “What is it? Did you forget the tools for the Devil Sealing Wave?”
Vegito’s gaze sharpened as Trunhan immediately shook his head.
“I’ve always kept it with me. But I understand what you mean, Dad. I’m afraid I don’t have the strength left to use it anymore.”
Vegito rubbed his chin.
Trunks had really used too much power to restrain Beerus.
He was utterly exhausted, and with Kibito and the Supreme Kai unable to get close to him or make contact, it seemed impossible to restore his strength.
At that moment, however, Trunhan said to Kibito, “Lord Kibito, please help me bring a Namekian named Jiru from Namek.”
