Under the watchful gaze of everyone present, an eerie silence fell as all held their breath, their eyes fixed on the figure bathed in golden light.
The golden light surrounding Baby Aize gradually faded, lifting the veil of mystery that had shrouded him.
At that moment, a completely new form emerged, exuding an aura of sacredness and supreme authority that far surpassed his previous state.
His body had become even more perfect: his muscles were sharply defined, and his skin shimmered with golden light, exuding an irresistible allure.
Indeed, Baby Aize had broken free from his shackles. He had successfully activated the genetic fragment that Frieza had given him and pushed it to its absolute limit.
As a genetic anomaly within their race, Frieza possessed unparalleled talent and power.
After possessing Aize’s body, Baby not only inherited Frieza’s strengths but also amplified his own power.
His innate talent was extraordinary, even surpassing Frieza’s in its absurdity.
In just a single day, he broke through to the Golden Form.
When Frieza trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for several hours, equivalent to about half a month in the outside world, he only managed to reach a severely weakened version of his Golden Form.
(P.S.: This setting is established in my book around Chapter 40.)
In his Golden Form, Baby Aize shed his earlier, pathetic bottle-baby appearance. Now completely transformed, he radiated vitality, his face beaming with a triumphant smile.
With a smug grin, he slowly ascended into the sky, looking down at the Z Warriors with contempt. His gaze swept contemptuously over them one by one.
Finally, his eyes settled on Orange Piccolo, his expression tinged with provocation and disdain.
“Pathetic tricks? Do you think you can contain me with such paltry measures? Very well, I’ll eliminate you first.”
Baby Aize extended his golden fingers, and a dazzling crimson laser beam erupted from them.
Piccolo’s heart clenched. Knowing of Baby Aize’s immense power, Piccolo swiftly conjured a sturdy defensive barrier around himself.
To be honest, he felt utterly uncertain.
Baby Aize’s final form had already pushed him to his limits. Now, his opponent had ascended to a Golden Form that rivaled Frieza’s.
“We’re done for! That monster is really going after Piccolo!” Krillin’s face twisted with dread, and his heart pounded as if it would burst from his throat.
Beside him, Pan’s eyes glazed over slightly; the anxiety in Krillin’s words resonated deeply within her.
Her gaze locked onto the trembling, crimson laser in Baby Aizen’s hand. In the next instant, the beam shot forth from his fingertip with terrifying speed.
Baby Aize unleashed a barrage of crimson lasers, far more than a single shot.
His fingers danced frantically, unleashing a storm of red lasers that rained down on Piccolo like a torrential downpour of cherry blossoms.
Their sole purpose was to riddle Piccolo with holes, ensuring he could never regenerate.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
There was no time to react; the lasers were simply too fast.
Piccolo staggered back several steps as the crimson lasers slammed into his protective barrier. Crackling and sizzling sounds echoed relentlessly as the barrier ultimately buckled under the assault.
The ferocious onslaught tore the barrier to shreds.
One laser struck first, piercing Piccolo’s torso.
His pupils dilated as waves of searing light crashed against his body, each strike dealing critical damage.
In the blink of an eye, his body was riddled with holes.
The sensation of pain vanished in an instant, replaced by nothingness.
Piccolo let out a single, anguished cry before falling silent. His eyes were vacant and lifeless.
The pain was like a pair of scissors, severing his pain receptors instantly.
The spectators below could only watch helplessly. Pan was the only one utterly distraught, staring at Piccolo’s riddled body.
“This is my beloved Grandpa Piccolo…”
The S-cells in her body began to converge frantically. The next moment, she broke free from Krillin’s arms.
Whoosh!
A golden aura erupted around her, and her mushroom-cut hair stood on end.
Pan had transformed into a Super Saiyan.
“Grandpa Piccolo!”
She flew toward Piccolo with frenzied desperation, immediately drawing the attention of all the Z Warriors.
“Come back, Pan! It’s dangerous!” Krillin rushed after her, trying to restrain her. However, Pan had already transformed, leaving him no chance of catching up.
“Pan!” Krillin could only roar helplessly as he watched her charge toward Piccolo.
But just then, Master Roshi stepped in.
With no other way to restrain her, he finally unleashed his signature technique:
“Mankoku-Antei-Shō (International Surprise Palm)! Child! Come back!”
A powerful electric current locked Pan in place, but she seemed impervious to the pain. Driven by grief and fury, she continued her relentless advance toward Piccolo.
Finally, Piccolo’s peripheral vision registered Pan’s movement.
“She’s just a child. If something happens to Pan, how could I ever face Gohan again?”
Lost in a daze, Piccolo didn’t know what to do.
“Kibito! Quick! Bring that child back here!” Kaioshin Shin shouted.
But just as the situation reached its breaking point…
A thick, muscular tail suddenly appeared in front of Pan, blocking her path.
Frieza turned and glanced at Pan, musing mockingly:
“Hoh, hoh, hoh. It seems you Earthlings have truly run out of warriors. Putting a little Saiyan on the battlefield?”
“Seizing Earth at this moment would be quite a strategic move,” he continued.
With that, he lifted Pan as if she were a chick and knocked her unconscious with a swift chop to the neck.
With a sly grin, Frieza tossed her carelessly behind him and addressed Krillin:
“I remember you, baldy. The guy I killed once before.”
“Catch her, won’t you? I can’t guarantee she won’t be killed by the fall.”
Krillin shuddered as the memory of his death resurfaced to torment him.
But with Pan about to crash to the ground, he snapped out of it and caught her in his arms.
His menacing gaze remained fixed on Frieza.
By now, Frieza was strolling nonchalantly toward Piccolo.
Krillin stared in disbelief. “Frieza…this guy? He’s actually helping us!”
Frieza waved dismissively over his shoulder and said casually,
“Ho ho ho! This great king is merely settling family matters.”
With that, he instantly conjured a protective barrier in front of Piccolo and kicked him away.
