Even Super Perfect Cell was completely enveloped under this strange and mysterious light.
An even more smug, almost arrogant, smile spread across the Yardratian’s already somewhat crafty-looking face.
Although his famous Instant Transmission technique was currently restricted, the Yardratian was far from a one-trick pony.
That’s right, he still had another hidden trump card:
“Spirit Fission.”
Thinking of this, the Yardratian’s mind drifted back to distant memories.
He clearly remembered being informed three days earlier that he would participate in the Tournament of Power and that he could not use his specialty, Instant Transmission, in this crucial battle.
A brief moment of panic and unease had surfaced in his heart.
However, as one of the Yardratians’ undisputed elites in Universe 6, he quickly recovered. He decided without hesitation to study and master the secret technique known as “Spirit Forced Separation.”
He never expected that the technique he had just trained in would actually have a chance to shine.
In the Universe 6 spectator room, Champa’s eyes widened so much that they looked as if they might pop out.
He stared fixedly at Super Perfect Cell, unwilling to blink for fear of missing a single exciting moment, and observed the Yardratian’s every movement.
The sudden, peculiar light captured all of Champa’s attention instantly.
The light flickered at times and shone with dazzling brilliance at others.
At the same time, in the Universe 7 spectator room, Beerus suddenly felt an ominous premonition arise in his heart.
It came without warning and was unusually strong, causing even the God of Destruction to frown.
He had been leisurely chewing his food but suddenly paused.
As the seconds passed, the strange light gradually faded.
When the light finally disappeared, everyone was shocked to discover that Super Perfect Cell’s body had been split into five parts.
Immediately, five small Cells, identical in body, appearance, and expression, appeared on the vast snowy plain.
The five little Cells looked at one another, their faces filled with confusion.
They rolled their eyes around, examining their unfamiliar surroundings and the four identical versions of themselves beside them. Then, as if by agreement, their gazes met.
Finally, one of the Cells broke the silence and muttered,
“W-we…have we been dismantled?!”
Immediately afterward, another little Cell quickly scanned the surroundings before slowly replying.
“It certainly looks that way, but why did it turn out like this?”
After saying that, he shook his head in confusion.
The entire scene was broadcast on the screens inside the spectator rooms of Universes 6 and 7.
Champa shouted excitedly,
“HAHAHA!!! Beautifully done! I didn’t expect such a twist!”
Meanwhile, Beerus stared at the screen in astonishment.
“Hey, Whis! What just happened?” Beerus asked, completely confused.
Whis had no choice but to explain the Spirit Fission technique to him.
Upon hearing this, Beerus’s face immediately turned ashen.
“Damn it! That idiot was this careless!”
…
The five Little Cells looked at each other again.
Finally, a teasing voice came from directly in front of them.
“Hehehe… So it really is just like you said. As expected, he’s the same as you—created through assimilation. That also explains why this guy was so troublesome.”
The Yardratian said this to the fused Namekian beside him. The two of them rubbed their fists together as they advanced toward the five Little Cells.
They had already discovered that the auras of the five Cells were far weaker than that of the single Cell from before.
The Yardratian stared at the five identical little cells, each with a dumbfounded expression. Then he said mockingly,
“Heh, what’s wrong? Weren’t you acting pretty arrogant just now?”
“Power gained through assimilation will never truly be your own.”
However, the five little Cells showed no reaction to the Yardratian’s ridicule.
They simply continued looking at each other.
“Oh, I remember now!” one of the Cells suddenly said.
“The boss once mentioned that he learned his separation technique on a planet called Yardrat.”
Another corrected him: “It’s Planet Yardrat—that guy’s home planet. He must’ve used the same separation technique as Boss.”
“I didn’t expect to run into a Yardratian in this Tournament of Power, but why is this guy so ugly?”
“Really? You think he’s ugly, too? I think so as well—HAHAHA!”
Not only did the little cells show no sense of danger; they even started mocking his appearance. The Yardratian instantly flew into a rage.
A beam of energy immediately gathered in his palm, its light shining increasingly brightly.
“Tch! I’ll blast you all off the stage right now!” the Yardratian roared.
At the same time, the fused Namekian beside him also felt that the moment had come.
A glowing sphere of energy began to pulse in his palm as well.
Confidence grew on both their faces. They were certain they could blast these five little brats straight out of the arena.
“AHH!!!”
Shouting at the same time, they sent two shockwaves toward the five little Cells.
Their momentum surged to a peak, ready to swallow the Cells whole.
“Now that you’ve split apart, there’s no way you can be our opponents!”
“That’s right, taste the power of all the Namekians of Universe 6!”
The two shockwaves merged into one and erupted into a brilliant explosion of light.
Suddenly, the five little cells put on expressions of extreme fear.
“What do we do? What do we do?”
“It’s over!” It’s over! There’s nothing we can do!”
“Are we going to be eliminated?”
The two fighters from Universe 6 were greatly excited by their performance. To them, eliminating these five guys was a foregone conclusion.
Nearby, Magetta also became excited at that moment.
He joined his two teammates and began attacking the five Little Cells.
“HAHAHA! Nicely done!” Champa shouted with victorious delight.
However…
In the next second, just as the Five Little Cells were about to be devoured, their expressions suddenly changed.
“Gotcha! Just kidding… hohoho.”
